■ THE hosts opened the scoring in this Bedfordshire derby midway through the first half. Good work from Taylor Bakogeorge on the right saw him square to Oluwalopemiwa Aderoju to finish.
Biggleswade knocked on the door at the end of the first period, but a combination of saves and blocks gave Rovers the lead at the break.
