■ WARE were made to work hard for this win after taking an early lead. Taufee Skandari’s corner was sent into the Abbey area where Dave Kendall’s header was blocked only for the centre back to drive in the rebound.
The visitors failed to consolidate their position and Abbey took control of proceedings with Brad Robinson called into action in the Ware goal on numerous occasions.
Ware extended their lead |after the break following a good move which ended with Leigh Rose converting Liam Dulson’s cross.
