CONOR McDONAGH’S second-half double helped North Leigh get the better of Thame in the battle between promotion contenders.
Two in-form sides created little in the first half before Amer Awadh volleyed the hosts ahead from Jordan Alves’ flick after 56 minutes.
McDonagh fired home his first four minutes later, but the breathing space didn’t last long, Lynton Goss’s overhead kick giving Thame renewed hope .
