HERTFORD took three vital points in this derby against Welwyn to move closer to safety.
In a tight game the Blues had the cutting edge with veteran striker Omer Riza setting up the first two goals.
Vlad Sighiatau was set up for the first and then Obi Ogbonna for the second as the hosts took control.
Welwyn came back into it after the break and substitute Yemi Adelani pulled one back on the hour mark.
