■ AT the 18th time of asking, Wantage secured a home league win, defeating Kempston having beaten the same side at home in the League Cup earlier in the season.
A strong start from Wantage saw Callum Crook head home a seventh-minute Jack Alexander free-kick, and further chances came and went for Wantage until Chief Boateng lobbed Joe Ringer for a second in the 40th minute.
