■ THERE was a goal of the season contest at Loop Meadow as Didcot upset playoff-bound Ware.
A couple of chances fell to Robbie Buchanan and Taufee Skandari before top scorer Connor Barrett rifled home a free-kick from 25 yards in front of a bumper crowd of 545.
Sam Barder found the corner which led to wild celebrations from the home support.
