■RYAN Knight haunted FC Romania once more to  give Kidlington an emphatic opening day win.
Knight, whose hat-trick helped clinch a 4-3 win in the corresponding fixture last year, added the gloss to a dominant performance by getting on the end of Connor Mattimore’s cross 20 minutes from time.
The points though were all but won much earlier, Sam Jenkins giving Kidlington the lead when heading home from a corner with 15 minutes gone.
