A SERIOUS injury to young Lymington star Freddie Bullard led to their match at Willand being abadoned.
Bullard clashed with the onrushing Willand keeper in the 17th minute and collapsed to the floor.
The game was stopped and after a 45-minute wait an ambulance arrived to take the youngster away to hospital.
The referee decided in the best interests of both sides the match should abandoned.
A Willand spokesman said: “We wish young Freddie Bullard the best. He has suffered three broken ribs and a collapsed lung.”
