KEMPSTON Rovers’ and Ben Baker’s firstminute goal was cancelled out by Highworth Town’s second-half equaliser as the two sides played out an evenly-matched draw.
The hosts got off to the perfect start through Baker, who found the back of the net in the opening minute. It simply couldn’t have been a better opening for Rovers.
The floodgates did not open from there, however, much to Kempston’s frustration but they did at least manage to hold onto their narrow lead until midway through the second-half.
