■HERTFORD edged out Kidlington in a close en-counter at Hertingfordbury Park.
There were chances for both sides in the first half with Lucas Northover for the visitors and Obi Ogbonna for the hosts both striking the woodwork.
The Blues opened the scoring ten minutes into the second period when Jesse Waller-Lassen put Vlad Sighiartau through to score brilliantly from an angle.
Kidlington soon levelled, though, when Matthew Cheetham converted from close range after a corner.
