CIRENCESTER continued their recent good run with a narrow win over Hertford Town.
The hosts got off to a flying start with two quick goals from Levi Irving.
For the first, the big centre forward pounced on a defensive error to fire home and then, a couple of minutes later, he headed in a good cross from Jordan Morris.
Hertford briefly rallied and rattled the bar but the Centurians had plenty of further chances and were good value for a two-goal lead at half-time.
