SHOLING went seven points clear at the top as a Dan Mason double saw off Willand and sealed their third win on the trot.
The game got off to a flying start in the fourth minute when Mason capitalised on a long ball over the defence and crashed the ball home from 18 yards.
Willand had their chances in the first half but were denied by strong defending from Rob Flooks and good saves by keeper Ryan Gosney.
Mason was twice denied his second goal of the afternoon by further fine saves from the Rovers keeper.
