THIS match may have been top versus bottom but it was no easy ride for the hosts.
Young Slimbridge keeper Luke Bell was under pressure early on and produced a great save to prevent Sholing scoring. However, from the resulting corner Jake Cope found Dan Mason to slot the Boatmen ahead after three minutes.
Sholing keeper Ryan Gosney had to be at his best to deny the Swans an equaliser.
On the half hour Lee Wort had the chance to double the lead but fired wide.
Bell was at his best again saving a well struck volley.
