NEW NAME,

WYTHENSHAWE Amateurs are Amateurs no more.
The newly-promoted North West Counties Division One South champions have changed their name and altered their club crest.
Competing at Step 5 for the first time in their history next season, they will now be known simply as Wythenshawe FC.
The club last changed its name in 1949, three years later after being founded as Wythenshawe Lads’ Club, To complement the name change, Wythenshawe FC have also made subtle changes to the club crest, originally designed by former goalkeeper Tex Morris in the 1970s.
