NEW THAME United boss Ben Williams’ knowledge of the local scene made him the perfect fit according to chairman Richard Carr.
The former Aylesbury United boss replaces Mark West, who stepped down this summer after 16 years with the Southern League Division One Central Red Kites.
Carr told the club’s website: “His knowledge of local players combined with belief in giving youth a chance makes him the perfect fit.”
Williams added: “The club have sold a great project to me and something I feel I can help with.”
