■ BARTON Rovers secured a convincing victory over Ware. Alfie Warman opened the scoring with a composed fifinish. Ware responded with mounting pressure on Barton’s defence, which led to a free-kick. Taylor Rhiney’s effort was initially parried by Barton’s goalkeeper and cleared off the six-yard line.
Taylor Rhiney then doubled Barton’s lead with a slick fifinish, capitalising on Ware keeper Frederick Burbidge being out of position.
