■BURSCOUGH were dealt yet another blow and remain bottom.
Keith McCann’s side had received good news earlier in the week that potential relegation battlers Prescot Cables had been handed a points reduction. But Burscough failed to capitalise as relegation looms.
A full-strength Burscough squad struggled at times to defend as Kendal created chance after chance. Just after the half-hour, Kendal took the lead through Matthew Dudley and that lead was soon doubled when Sam Bailey found himself in bags of space.
