A SENSATIONAL 40-yard strike by former Bamber Bridge striker Ben Wharton help kept Brighouse Town in the hunt for a play-off place.
Wharton took his chance on 24 minutes when he saw visiting keeper Lloyd Rigby off his line and launched an audacious lob that went over his head.
In the 39th minute Town’s twin striker Michael Fish had the ball in the net but was ruled offside.
