NEWLY-PROMOTED Hertford came back from a two-goal halftime deficit to earn a point at the Brentwood Arena.
Blues took a fifth-minute lead when Matt Price finished well, and Harrison Georgiou converted another Freeman assist for the second goal.
In a dramatic last fifteen minutes Charlie Edwards slot home to make it 2-1 and the equaliser came in the 78th minute from an Ollie Sharman header.
In a feisty end to the contest, Georgiou was sent off after a second yellow card.
