THE game had been delayed due to the Swindon coach being held up in summer traffic.
It took 20 minutes for either side to have sight of goal, and five minutes later Swindon striker Josh Parsons neatly placed a header wide of Bideford keeper Steve Oliver.
Josh Hill in the Swindon goal made saves from Bideford’s Billy Tucker and Ryan Turner, while Squire sent a header wide.
In the second half, Swindon sat deep and invited the Robins on to them and, despite having nine attempts on goal, they could not claw a goal back.
