AT A SUNNY Mayesbrook Park, newly promoted Barking, in their second home league game of the season went up against high flying Heybridge Swifts.
Within two minutes the visitors struck the Barking post and only succession of good saves from Barking keeper Ollie Bowles kept the scores level.
The deadlock was broken on 70 minutes when Juan Luque fired home from close range.
And despite a late Barking rally no equaliser was forthcoming.
The visitors extended their winning run for the season.
