STEVE Phillips was the star of the show has he kept Hythe Town at bay to help Phoenix Sports to victory.
Phillips dived low to his right and made a great save from Ryan Palmer’s penalty to keep it goalless at half time.
On 61 minute Phoenix took the lead when striker Jack Barham dispatched his shot in to the roof of the net.
Then on 68 minutes Wright’s long throw was only cleared to the edge of the box and Frankie Sawyer hit an unstoppable volley in to the bottom corner.
