THE inter-county coastal derby saw an even battle between Ramsgate and Hastings, although it was the visitors who took all three points.
In the 12th Billy Medlock outpaced the defence and beat ‘keeper Luke Watkins.
On the 20th minute the Alfie Paxman was through for Ramsgate but brought down from behind giving the ref no option but to point to the spot - from which Tom Chapman equalised.
In the 52nd minute the ball fell to Medlock whose shot hit the upright but went in to seal the victory for the visitors despite home pressure.
