THE NATIONAL League table made for awkward reading this week. Sitting proudly atop of the division at this very early stage were Sutton United and Bromley.
There’s a big green elephant in the room and it needs to be addressed.
Along with Maidstone United, Bromley and Sutton form the trio of Step 1 clubs playing on 3G pitches.
But according to the current rules, this is their level. The Football League don’t allow clubs to play on artificial surfaces.
