■ GRINSTEAD remain just one point off the foot of the South table after being comprehensively beaten by VCD Athletic.
VCD had already hit the woodwork beforethey took the lead. An Omar Lawson shot was well saved by Oshane Brown only for Ellis Brown to tap home.
VCD soon gained control. Kemo Darboe should have extended the lead but missed from the spot before they were awarded another spot kick, Lawson converting this time around.
