ENFIELD TOWN 3 THURROCK 1

RYAN BLAKE’S last-minute goal put an extra gloss on a hard-earned Enfield win against a plucky Thurrock outfit.
It took five minutes for Town to open the scoring, star man Simon Thomas netting the rebound after Elliot Benyon took the ball round Fleet keeper Jake Jessop and hit the inside of the post.
Benyon couldn’t quite reach John Kyriacou’s cross. And Thurrock went straight on the attack, veteran striker Dennis Oli calmly slotting home past Towners keeper Joe Wright on 15 minutes.
