ATHERTONweathered a good 25-minute spell from Brighouse in the opening half and then went on to win with three clinical goals. Newly-contracted Colls skipper Daniel Laferty headed off his own line after eight minutes from a Reece Jenkinson shot with keeper Adam Reid beaten.
