THElast league game Hyde lost was away at Clitheroe in January and they repeated the feat. Roared on by a large following Hyde looked to impose themselves but Clitheroe shaded the first half. Alex Newby raced 60 yards, lashed in a shot which was saved and Ryan Ellison’s follow up was also kept out. Charlie Russell was immediately fouled and Kurt Willoughby blazed in the free kick.
