YATE Town were denied a late winner in an entertaining home draw with Winchester City that saw plenty of chances.
Andy Jenkinson crashed a shot against the crossbar for the visitors and then Ollie Bayley was denied by Harvey Rivers. It was against the run of the play that Yate took the lead just before the break, Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist breaking through two weak tackles before steering the ball inside the post.
