MILDENHALL TOWN ended the year on a high, snapping a tortuous run of 15 league games without a win by beating Hertford Town 2-0.
It was a scrappy midfield battle in the first half, Mildenhall coming close with a firm header saved by Charlie Mann.
The home side, whose last league win came against Barking in early October, took the lead on 67 minutes thanks to a smart Joshua Curry finish at a corner – a rare strike for the defender.
