DANIELS TRIUMPH IN TIGHT FIXTURE

STAMFORD ground out a result against a tough Lincoln side.
Stamford started brightly and had a string of corners early on. Lincoln replied with Norris going close with a low drive. Liam Adams, Elliot Putman and Jake Duffy all had shots well saved for the Daniels in a lively half.
Lincoln started the second half well and in a mad scramble in the box had a shot cannon off the post from close range. Stamford took the lead when Jordan Smith crossed to Elliot Putman to break and finish nicely in the corner.
