BRIGHTLINGSEA turned on the style in the final 20 minutes to overcome struggling Worthing, who finished the afternoon with ten men.
In a very cagey first half, both sides struggled to make the break through. The only notable chance fell to Rs’ Billy Hunt who shot wide from an Aaron Condon cross.
Straight after the restart, Worthing should have broken the deadlock. Jimmy Wild broke though and his shot forced a fine save from keeper Harry Palmer but Kieron Pamment ballooned over the rebound.
