■ BOWERS & Pitsea got back to winning ways by securing a home victory over AFC Sudbury.
Goals from Ben Sartain and David Knight either side of half-time allowed Rob Small’s side to notch a valuable three points at the Len Salmon Stadium.
Bowers took the lead on 34 minutes as Manor slid the ball through to Sartain, who stroked past Sudbury goalkeeper Paul Walker, who could do little about it.
And the win was sealed just four minutes after the break as Knight got on the scoresheet when neatly firing home.
