COURTNEY Meppen-Walter got the only goal at the Arthur Goldthorpe Stadium.
The visitors nearly took the lead on nine minutes but Russ Saunders denied Astley Mulholland.
On the half hour, Meppen-Walter collected the ball 20 yards out and hit a thunderbolt but his fine strike was well saved at full stretch by Matt Cooper.
The hosts thought they had the lead just seconds before the break but Kane Hickman’s powerful header was cleared off the line with Cooper grabbing the rebound.
Meppen-Walter eventually opened the scoring on 51 minutes ...
