LUKE Yates was the star of the show as Alvechurch came from a goal down to overcome Carlton despite the fine form of goalkeeper Jack Steggles. Carlton, severely depleted by injuries and suspensions, took the lead in the first-half thanks to a superb finish by Louis Danquah.
Man of the match Ste ggles was in top for m in the Millers goal making three wonderful saves to keep the visitors in the game.
Alvechurch must have received the hairdryer treatment at half-time as they came out with real purpose and intent after the break.
