BRACKNELL Town suffered heartbreak as they were agonisingly beaten to the title by Thatcham Town.
Despite the Robins beating mid-table Tuffley Rovers 8-0 at Larges Lane, the hosts missed out on lifting the title by just two goals after being locked with Thatcham on 98 points, in what was a remarkable finish to a thrilling league season.
