‘RESPECTED’ CHIEF JOHN MOURNED BY BISHOPS

RESPECTED: John Turner

BISHOP’S Stortford are mourning the passing of vice-chairman John Turner, who passed away while on holiday in Majorca on Thursday at the age of 62.
Born and raised in Bishop’s Stortford, Turner had been associated with the club for 20 years, and had undertaken various roles at the club throughout his time there.
He was appointed as commercial and operations director in 2007 and was also a director of the Hertfordshire FA.
