RAMSBOTTOM saw their 13-match unbeaten run brought to an end by Runcorn Linnets.
Louis Corrigan scored from the spot to give Runcorn the lead but the Rams levelled on 25 minutes through Tom Kennedy’s free-kick.
The visitors retook the lead, Peter Wylie heading into the back of the net and the hosts’ Jacobs was sent off eight minutes into the second half for a 50-50 challenge.
But Nialle Rodney stepped up and scored a great penalty after Nic Evangelinos was felled.
