PRESCOT Cables leapfrogged Trafford in the league standings with a convincing win at Volair Park.
Trafford made early attempts to find their centre forward with long balls but it was Chris Almond who opened the scoring with a goal in the 11th minute, converting a penalty earned by MJ Monaghan to bag a half-time lead.
The second half started with a Prescot penalty appeal waved away by the referee after an apparent handball in the box.
