OSSETT scored after just six minutes and took control after a long break in play when the referee was injured.
Former Blue Adam Priestley put them ahead from a corner before Frickley levelled through debutant Ousman Cham.
Proceedings were halted when the referee pulled up and a suitably qualified official was found from the stands.
Shortly after the restart, Ossett were ahead from another corner as Sam Liversidge’s attempted defensive header looped over Hugo Warhurst.
