CLAPTON have been given a bolthole by Essex Senior League rivals Southend Manor for the rest of the season.
Since they were forced to quit their Old Spotted Dog stadium in Forest Gate earlier this season, Clapton have played their home games firstly at Redbridge’s Oakside ground and then at Aveley’s Parkside.
A statement from Southend Manor said: “We have agreed for Clapton to play out their remaining home fixtures of the 2019-20 campaign at our Southchurch Park home and we hope they enjoy their stay in Southend.
