■ TOTTON ran out winners in a crucial clash at the bottom of the league thanks to two unanswered goals in the first half, despite plenty of pressure coming from home side Basingstoke.
The visitors took an early lead when David Allen converted a free header from close range at the far post after five minutes.
With ten minutes left to play in the first period, Totton were awarded a questionable penalty and Craig Feeney stepped up to tuck it away.
