ALTY FANS BAG MOORS FREEBIE

SPENNYMOOR Town chief executive Brad Groves will be funding the Altrincham supporters’ coach when they next meet in National League North.
Tuesday’s clash was postponed at 6.30pm by referee Adam Herczeg with a small section of the Brewery Field surface under water.
It meant a wasted near 300- mile round trip for Alty fans and players, but Mr Groves’ gesture has been gratefully received.
Altrincham FC’s Twitter said: “We thank Mr Groves for his generosity and our brilliant supporters for making the long trip in vain.”
