■ VCD recovered from a poor start to snatch a late victory over Whitehawk with Malachi Hudson grabbing a late brace.
Vickers switched off from an early corner to allow Marvin Hamilton to score after just five minutes.
The second half almost began in the same way when Vickers defender Kiki Oshilaja nearly turned the ball into his own net.
But two defensive errors by the Hawks let in Athletic when, first, Malachi Hudson powered through with five minutes to go to firmly place a shot beyond Hawks stopper James Broadbent.
