Chertsey were reduced to ten men just before the interval after keeper Nick Jupp charged a blocking Uxbridge forward.
Scott Day took over in goal ands saved Mark Bitmead’s penalty kick.
Chertsey went on to see Oliver Duffy and Sam Hurrell receive thier marching orders for two bookable offences.
