THIS was a rare game inthe Southern League for two teams who were no longer in the FA Cup, and Lymington started with energy, Toby Bailey scoring after 26 minutes.
Both teams threatened before the interval, and Lymington extended their lead shortly after half time when Luke Churchill was unmarked from a free kick and made no mistake. An unlikely comeback started immediately with Ollie Webb heading home to get the hosts back involved.
Melksham made it 2-2 when Chris Zebroski glided past the defence before slotting past the keeper in the Home End.
