HAPPY Hythe claimed four goals and three points on a freezing cold afternoon at Phoenix Sports.
The first half was fairly even, but the visitors took the lead on 20 minutes when Liam Smith reacted quickest to a rebound off a post.
Hythe started well in the second half and went 2-0. A long ball was pounced upon by Jake Embery, who spotted Andy Walker off his line and beat him with a perfectly weighted lob.
Phoenix had a good spell but failed to score, and paid for that when Johan CaneyBryan headed in.
