MERSTHAM and Horn- had to settle for a dean point apiece in a match that swung on two penalty kicks.
There were plenty of chances at both ends in an open first half, but none were taken, the best being a penalty to the Deans after 32 minutes, but Tommy Scutt fired over the crossbar.
Opportunities came and went until the 61st minute, when Zack Willett fired home from 17 yards. The lead lasted only 13 minutes and, from the spot, Moatsiders sub Will Kendall beat Cameron Scott to level matters.
