GRANTHAM took the lead after just two minutes when Harry Olivant ran from his own half to score off the far post.
Cleethorpes equalised after eight minutes when Flett tapped home a right-wing cross. Cleethorpes pressed but Grantham went ahead in the 24th minute when Goncalves’ cross from the left curled home at the far post.
The lead lasted seven minutes before Bateson equalised for Cleethorpes.
The second half saw Grantham keeper Hall save well as Adelekan and Annan fired over when well placed.
