■TOP side Chertsey Town emphasised the gap down to the bottom of the table by racing to a two-goal lead after just nine minutes en route to a crushing win. Louis Degand notched both goals, before going on to secure his hat-trick on the hour
mark to set off the second half scoring spree once more. Binfield displayed spirit throughout, but were out gunned in every department. Town were encouraged by being given plenty of space, which they exploited to the full.
